A new bar was installed in the corner of the canteen area. A few years later after an appeal to the BBC's "Children in need", a grant of £5000 was received and a playground with adventure area was installed in the garden.

Blake Lodge Centre (Plymouth Deaf Association) is run purely by volunteers. Our volunteers are essential to everything we do. With their help we can empower the Deaf community reach their goals.
