2015
2015 has been an exciting year for Blake Lodge were significant steps have been taken to ensure its future. Below are some of the things that have happened this year:
Change in the use of the main hall
A new relationship was developed with Little Owls Pre-school who began to rent the main hall and garden at Blake Lodge. Following significant renovation and improvement works to the main hall and garden, Little Owls Pre-school opened its doors at Blake Lodge in January.

New Trustees
Mark Cunliffe was welcomed as a trustee as Blake Lodge.
Blake Lodge Community Project is born
The project which is organised by Lynn Elson (a Blake Lodge trustee) aims to create a drop in centre for the Deaf community in Plymouth. For more information about this project.

Fundraising
Over the year Blake Lodge has been working hard to secure funding for the various projects, such as the community project, the Cafe, building renovation and administration staff, along with other projects.

End of the lease with Core Fitness Gym
This year also saw the end of the long standing lease with Core Fitness Gym, as they move to a new location. Everyone at Blake Lodge Centre wish them the best of luck in the future.

- The idea of flats being build on Blake Lodge land specifically for the use of elderly Deaf people to be explored and developed.
- The continuation of work to develop the Blake Lodge Drop-in centre.
- An opening day in 2016 to demonstrate to everyone the work that is being done at Blake Lodge.
